Hi, I'm Tracey. I'm originally from the coast of South Carolina but have been in coastal Virginia for six years. The Peninsula feels like home now. My husband of 18 years is the senior pastor of a church in Hampton. We live in the beautiful Hidenwood area of Newport News with our two fun-loving teenagers and a spunky Boykin Spaniel.
My credentials include a Master of Arts in Teaching from Columbia International University with a concentration in Whole Health Education from the National Institute of Whole Health. I am a certified ESSENTRICS® instructor and have been teaching Essentrics fitness classes in Newport News for four years. Most recently, I am became a certified Keto and Intermittent Fasting Coach.
As a survivor of childhood trauma I understand the challenges that can affect the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. When I became teenager I developed depression and continued to struggle with it into my 20s and 30s. After numerous health issues (including recurring mononucleosis, Bell’s Palsy, and thyroid disease) I ended up with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. To top it off, I was in my early 30s with two children in diapers! The journey from fatigue to flourishing, being in my late 40s now, has given me qualifications that exceed book learning.
I'm eager to help you on your own journey to live well and be happy.
Let's live sprightly together!
